The set incorporates two special 1-liter plastic containers, nevertheless they feature very particular handling and care instructions. You can't wash them inside the dishwasher. You can't wash these with trouble (only lukewarm, around 120 degrees F). If they sustain any damage or scratches you're told to halt with these and replace with brand new ones. Last but not least, each posseses an expiration date, then you're told to switch once you get your bottle. (Mine was October 2011, to ensure that makes a lifespan of about 2.Several years). A little odd, perhaps, then again you should know we're coping with pressurized gases, i really guess there are plenty of wear these items must endure.

The initial step along the way would be to fill one of several 1-liter bottles with water around the fill-line, then upt it inside the fridge to be nice cold. The instructions emphasizes this aspect, since cold water holds carbonation superior to room-temperature water. Once you have the bottle nicely chilled, you only screw the superior in the front from the Fountain Jet until its tight. Then press the button on the top unless you hear a (somewhat nerve-wracking) BUZZ noise. They recommend accomplishing this thrice for the "standard" volume of carbonation. I like my seltzer heavily carbonated, i really achieved it More - that became available very bubbly. I'll probably adhere to A few charges in the future batches.

The entire process (excluding refrigeration time) takes most of about Thirty seconds to accomplish, making this super-fast and. The resulting seltzer was great - similar to the expensive items you ought to lug from your supermarket, only cheaper and much more convenient. I used filtered spring water (we've got a monthly water-delivery service) however you could just like easily use filtered plain tap water and most likely get similar results.

Product Research

Some of the customers reviews regarding using the product:

Ragusa

"Fun way to make your own soda and sparking water. The system is really easy to use. If your household consumes a lot of soda and you hope to replace your soda purchases with this system, I recommend purchasing more bottles to have on hand. The diet and regular root beer flavors are great. I also enjoy the seltzer flavorings."

Emmapel

"This machine will save me money, time, and space, since I used to have to schlep plastic bottles of sparkling water home on the bus.

It seems to work exactly as directed. I haven't figured out yet how many liters I'll get out of one canister, but 3 squirts does the job for me.

Other posters have said the soda flavors aren't great--I concur. Plus, they diminish the carbonation when added, so I think I'll stick to plain water with a slice of lemon."

Kai

"We love making our own seltzer, and it is easy. The machine uses no electricity, and it takes seconds to make a 1 liter bottle. As for the pre-made flavors they aren't great. If you are making your own soda why stop at pre-made flavors. We like to add juice, fresh lemons or limes, fresh mint. Oh what about a mojito flavored seltzer with fresh lime, mint, and a plain syrup. yum! I didn't expect to make coke, and if that is what you are looking for you should probably stick with buying the brand names; however, if you want to invent your own flavors and cut down on sugar and chemicals this machine is great. As for soda being bad for you, it's the sugar and chemicals that are bad, and you can avoid both by making your own. If you have heard about carbonated water being bad I would love to hear about legitimate info backed up by some real research."
